Perform Plug and Abandonment duties both onshore and offshore


Repair and maintain plug and abandonment equipment on job site

Must have the ability and desire to grasp new ideas related to work environment

Required to attend Weatherford and customer required specialized training courses in plug and abandonment services

Required to work on 24 hr call status

Required to work onshore and offshore for long periods of time (no set schedule involved)

Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.


Broad knowledge of Plug and Abandonment equipment and services
1+ years previous rig floor experience

Must be able to work independently and perform advanced tasks with no supervision

Basic Supervisory skills

Must have the ability to work well around others in close quarters

Good written and verbal communication skills

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Must currently reside in or near Broussard, LA

Mechanical aptitude

Position Overview Entry/ Mid-level Operator for water filtration equipment primarily in GOM. The capability to work a flexible schedule is a must, along with the ability to analyze and resolve problems independently and efficiently.
