Equipment Operator

1st Shift-5:00am-1:30pm- $18.35 per hour

2nd Shift-2:00pm-10:30pm- $20.35 per hour

The Equipment Operator will perform a variety of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Select customer orders from shelves, place onto pallet, and load onto trailer

• Must operate an industrial forklift in a safe and responsible manner

• Must be able to retrieve and stack product safety use appropriate equipment

• Utilize an on-board computer and wireless radio frequency system

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Assist other warehouse workers in completing tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated and proven track record of proficiency on all powered industrial vehicle (PIV) equipment operated in the warehouse.

• Must be able to lift heavy objects (occasionally between 40-50 lbs.) with or without reasonable accommodation for an entire shift.

• Overtime is required based on business demands, sometimes on short notice.

• Previous warehouse/forklift operation experience required, 6 months required, 2 years preferred.

• Must be dependable and a team player.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Must be employed with Bunzl for 6 months and be proficient on all PIV equipment operated in the warehouse.

Bunzl Reno Salary Range of $18.35-$22.35 per hour is based on experience, education and geographic location.
