Responsible for the prompt repair and ongoing maintenance of facilities, complex equipment, and company vehicles. This position is specific to forklift maintenance and repair. Identify, monitor and troubleshoot problems. Keep records of work performed and complete maintenance history logs.
Maintain and repair more complex machinery specific to forklifts, high reach and electric pallet jacks. (Additional items could include as needed conveyor system, Pick to light technology, scanners, shrink wrap machine. Box erector etc.)

Provide recommendation to repair or replace poorly functioning equipment.
Efficiently prioritizes repair schedule to ensure an uninterrupted production schedule.
Assist in developing a preventive maintenance schedule.
Ensure an adequate inventory of necessary spare parts and materials is maintained.
Ensure work area is clean, secure and well maintained.
High School diploma or equivalent. Graduate of building related vocational technical programs are preferred. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and dock leveler maintenance desired. Minimum of three years recent experience performing maintenance work in building related trades.
Ability to provide excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office.
Ability to provide proof of a valid driver's license. If state law requires, must possess a valid boiler license.
Ability to read and comprehend manuals, prints, and work orders. General record keeping skills.
Ability to stand or walk for the majority of the day. Stooping, bending, twisting, lifting, reaching, and ladder use is required in completion of job duties. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to perform manual labor. Incumbent may use various trade tools, and other office equipment during normal workday. Must be able to work in warehouse temperatures ranging from
