CRST Lincoln Sales is seeking an Equipment Manager to be located at our offices in Louisville, KY!
The Equipment Manager is responsible for coordinating status and needs between all departments supporting reduction of expense, downtime, and report accuracy.
Manage equipment turn-in condition on rental/leased equipment from an external service provider
Support VRT with locating and set up rental equipment for breakdown situations
Ensure all equipment is activated and/or set to reports only in TMT
Coordinate with VRT all equipment in shop status, accuracy and estimated time of completion
Manage in service and out service units with fleet managers and or operations divisions
Monitor all Pegasus pending repairs with the primary focus on PM's and keeping Louisville shop PM schedule full
Monitor any campaigns/recalls on Pegasus equipment
Manage all special projects involving Lincoln Sales with Pegasus Equipment
At least once per month visit Pharmaceutical and Plasma locations to ensure maintenance and repairs are being completed as required by both Lincoln Sales employees and external service providers
Understand and utilize all reefer tracking software including TracKing and Startrak
Monthly update current reefer hours in TMT
Determine training needs for Ops/Safety/Drivers on any equipment changes
Support drivers with equipment issues and complaints
Review and update all maintenance related procedures required for ISO compliance
2-3+ years experience in the transportation industry preferred
High school diploma or GED required
AA or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and conflict resolution skills are needed
