What Will You Do?
Equipment MaintenanceTechnician (A Shift)
Sunday,Monday, Tuesday (alternate Wednesday)
6:00 AM 6:00 PM
Perform electrical ormechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioningelectro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Dismantles,adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints,operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Uses test anddiagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment asrequired. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturingengineers.
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot to root cause down wafer fab equipment;
Participate in shift pass down activities with incoming and outgoing shifts;
Work with Process and Equipment engineering and other cross functional groups to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize equipment downtime;
Support continuous improvement activities for throughput and yield enhancements
Participate in spare part analysis and inventory development
Assist in equipment upgrades and the installation and startup of new equipment;
Member of the Lumentum MERTeam;
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by maintenance supervisor.
Minimum H.S. Diploma, GED or equivalent;
Minimum 3 years directly related experience in wafer fab, manufacturing or like setting;
AS degree in a related discipline preferred or an equivalent combination of experience;
Effective communicator both verbally and written;
Work effectively as an individual contributor and with other groups and business units;
Excellent troubleshooting skills;
Extensive knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment;
Able to read interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and drawings;
Able to work and take directions from written and verbal instructions;
Familiar with use and operation of shop tools, electronic testing equipment, leak detectors, RGA's, rough vacuum pumps, high vacuum pumps and other associated equipment;
Able to pass respiratormedical clearance testing.
