  • Supervises and guides corrective and preventive maintenance on a 2-2-3, 12 hour shift rotation shift in an ISO compliant, semiconductor fabrication cleanroom

  • Maintains employee training records and assigns technical development areas for technicians

  • Participates in the maintenance effort as a coach and leader

  • Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimal cost

  • Acts as liaison with engineering, process, production, and other personnel

  • Develops systems to maintain reports and record keeping

  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the shift

  • Supervises equipment technicians- owns administrative, development and coaching responsibilities for all of their employees


  • Associates degree in an electronic related field or military experience preferred

  • 5+ years of semiconductor experience is preferred

  • Demonstrated skill and success in supervising in a high-tech environment strongly desired

  • Candidate must possess excellent organizational, communicative, and technical skills

  • Position requires someone who is self-motivated, team oriented, adaptive, and responsive

  • Excellent management skills and experience coaching direct employees for success

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows-based software is preferred

  • Experience with concept and practices of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing

  • Versatility and ability to work on multiple tasks

What You Will Do: * Interface with production/warehouse supervision to effect safe repairs to equipment and that equipment is returned to operations in an acceptable condition. * Performs regularly scheduled preventive maintenance, trouble shooting, and monthly safety checks. * Makes repairs & modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the e-mail work order system. * Responsible for completing all paperwork assigned and coordinating with the Reliability Supervisor to ensure data is correct and recorded. Position Details: * City/State: Greensboro, NC * Pay Rate: $25.00/hour * Work Week and Shift: * 1st Shift (2-2-3 rotation; 6:00am-6:00pm) * 3rd Shift (2-2-3 rotation; 6:00pm-6:00am) * 3rd Shift (Sunday-Thursday; 10:00pm-6:30am) Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED. * 2 years' experience in an industrial maintenance environment. * 1 year of experience with electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial environment. * 1 year of experience with PLC based applications in an industrial environment. * Must have elementary math capability and can follow oral or written instructions. * No immigration sponsorship provided. Physical Demands: * Must be able to perform all physical duties. * Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs. * Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam. Preferred Qualifications: * Formal vocational training in plant maintenance activities with emphasis on industrial applications or equivalent job experience in electricity, power distribution, industrial electrical wiring, mechanics, machine operations, general plumbing, heating ventilation and air conditioning, boiler operations. * Able to work in difficult situations such as confined spaces, heat and in high places. * Experience with pumps, welding, bearings, electrical safety, forklifts, gears, hydraulics, valves, and rigging. * Experience in a TPM environment.
