Responsible for the maintenance of all electrical and mechanical equipment including C.N.C. machines throughout the facility. Understanding of building B.M.S. (Building Management System) for two buildings, electrical and air conditioning. Represents Company and coordinates with outside vendors when contracting for work beyond our in-house capabilities.
Perform maintenance on all machines and equipment and make repairs on equipment when failures occur
Perform maintenance on all building H.V.A.C. equipment when repairs include electrical related failures - Interface with contractor on coolant related issues
Install new electrical power and compressed air lines as required supporting manufacturing operations
Monitor water treatment on closed loop cooling water system
Assist in providing solutions for new departmental relocations, as it pertains to utility requirements, plumbing, H.V.A.C., etc.
Work with production department by correcting safety department deficiencies
Take lead in determining utility requirements (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, B.T.U., etc.) for any new and or major remodel
Supervise outside contractors who provide facilities services to Newport
Clean room maintenance experience a plus
Excellent Mechanical Aptitude
Mechanical or Electrical Technician Degree (A.A. Degree) or a minimum of 5-7 years of related job experience
Ability to work with minimal supervision and/or within a team environment
Safety and I.S.O. Training
Forklift and overhead crane certification
Microsoft Office products
