Intralox LLC, a leader in conveyance technology, is looking for a Knowledge Management Specialist for our Equipment business line.

The Equipment business is rapidly growing division of the company that designs, manufactures and installs automation equipment used across logistics, food, packaging and other industries.

We are seeking a knowledge management specialist to help implement effective knowledge management practices using tools and systems deployed in other aspects of the Intralox enterprise. This individual should be self-managed, organized, an excellent communicator, and facilitator of teams. This will involve developing principles, process and templates; project managing the migration of assets to platforms such as SharePoint; administering the system; and encouraging adoption and usage.

This will report the equipment platform manager and should be based in either New Orleans, LA or Baltimore, MD


  • Serve as the central point of contact for all equipment knowledge management and related topics

  • Establish user guidelines and best practices.

  • Develop templates and tools

  • Identify training needs and perform user training.

  • Recommend best practices and processes

  • Build relationships with user groups; understand their functions, needs and opportunities.

  • Project manage the migration of different information or knowledge assets to platforms such as SharePoint.

  • Provider support to users

  • Administer the systems; input data

  • Collaborate with team/department leads to encourage adoption and usage

  • Develop processes to ensure content remains up to date.


  • Bachelors degree from an accredited University is required.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Expert in knowledge management best practices and tools

  • Project management skills

  • Experience in creating and improving processes

  • Self-directed; proven track record of proactivity and taking initiative to solve problems

  • Ability to self-teach and seek out other resources to create solutions in undefined areas

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Facilitation skills are a plus

  • Ability to work well with others and comfortable with asking questions

  • Clear communicator

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office & SharePoint; comfort with technology
