Within our organization, the Flow team manages the movement of surplus empty containers to deficit locations. Leveraging cross-departmental collaboration and data analytics, our primary objective is to maximize slot utilization on vessels while maintaining cost efficiency. Other responsibilities include ensuring sufficient supply of containers for export demand, coordination with operations teams throughout the Americas and Asia, exception handling for misused or misrouted empty containers, and closely monitoring transportation costs, storage costs, and container dwell status.

Job Responsibilities:
Communicate with NAG TAT/TPT TFC daily on deficit/surplus port locations and requirement for coastal repositioning.
Develop and implement cost effective NAG TAT/TPT flow strategies by studying the demand and planning moves of surplus equipment.
Coordinate with local Ops to determine inter-regional equipment flow requirements. Create inter-op zone empty plans in system to allow regions to execute the weekly reposition as planned.
Assess empty allocations assigned by TAT/TPT TFC and declare available equipment in accordance with equipment demand requirements provided by EMC, and work to achieve vessel 'Full & Down' goals.
As instructed by the Equipment Flow Manager, communicate any equipment on-hire requirements with EMC and coordinate with local OPS.
Monitor empty allocation usage in port Op zones and work with local OPS to ensure empties are in the correct terminals to meet required vessel empty declarations.
