GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is to execute the dispatch and tracking of all containers, chassis and generator sets to and from the Gulfport Terminal. It provides the accountability for all fruit product inventory and all documentation necessary for sales to correctly invoice customers. The position also provides for accounting purposes and various daily, weekly and period reports.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION

  • Communicate with truck drivers while updating the computer system to reflect the movement of equipment and/or product in or out of the terminal.

  • Communicate with the sales office regarding changes needing to be made to the bills of lading (date, carrier, etc.).

  • Coordinate with sales office regarding special assignments to receive specific loads.

  • Prepare and distribute various daily, weekly, and period reports.

  • Maintains EIR files.

  • Rotates weekend duties with fellow employees.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to function in an industrial environment, including the ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones, and utilize a variety of office equipment. Ability to lift a minimum of 15 lbs. and reach overhead.

WORK HOUR REQUIREMENT

  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, rotating shifts required.

Roles & Responsibilities: The Clinical Dietitian Supervisor directs and oversees the performance of the clinical dietitian staff at Garden Park Medical Center and provides leadership in defining the role of the clinical dietitian. She works closely with the FANS Department in optimizing the nutritional status of patients and customers served. She collaborates with hospital managers, supervisors and employees to improve nutrition care processes throughout the hospital. The Clinical Dietitian Supervisor is responsible for reviewing and directing her staff in adhering to Joint Commission Standards and state regulations relating to nutrition care. Duties include but are not limited to: * Reviews and revises nutrition screening process to identify high risk patients for nutritional assessment. * Reviews and evaluates patient educational materials to be used and is involved in obtaining selected materials. * Oversees the monitoring of nutritional status of patients served and seeks to improve the process. * Oversees the communications and charting of the clinical staff to be in compliance with approved policies and abbreviations. * Approves hospital menus and actively works with FANS Director with menu planning so that the nutrient needs of all patients can be met and diets are in compliance with nationally approved nutrition guidelines. * Reviews hospital diet manual and obtains annual approval through appropriate committees. * Writes and implements PI plan for clinical dietitians and completes quarterly PI reports for MCE. * Leads and organizes monthly staff meetings for clinical dietitians. * Participates in FANS Dept. meetings and provides or oversees the provision of education to FANS staff as directed by the FANS Director. * Oversees and participates in community activities to promote nutrition, i.e. diabetes support group, employee health programs, health fairs About Garden Park Medical Center Since 1973, Garden Park has supported the medical needs of the residents of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
