Key Responsibilities as an Equipment and Sanitation Manager for dnata Catering, is to oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of all equipment and sanitation processes. You will work closely with the catering team to ensure that all equipment, such as ovens, refrigerators, and food preparation stations, are in good working condition and meet industry standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring strict sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and hygienic environment in compliance with food safety regulations. This includes ensuring proper cleaning and sanitizing of all equipment, utensils, and work surfaces, as well as training and supervising staff on proper sanitation practices. You will also be responsible for inventory management of equipment and supplies, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and maintaining accurate records. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and knowledge of sanitation regulations will play a crucial role in upholding the highest standards of quality and safety at dnata Catering.

You Will

  • Manage Silverware, Warehouse, Beverage, and Equipment Assembly to maintain company standards and specifications.

  • Direct, manage, motivate, train, and instruct all staff in cleaning production equipment and the facility.

  • Oversee all aspects of inventory management to ensure financial and customer requirements are met.

  • Manage and oversee daily safety, sanitation, and GMP compliance inspections.

  • Handle all company and customer owned merchandise received until it is issued to production.

  • Manage personnel to maintain proper inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, and requisition processes.

  • Organize inventory and reporting processes.

  • Report KPI's.

  • Create and manages "production schedule" in all sections to provide correct service to customers.

  • Maintain regulatory compliance standards (examples: US Customs documents for all airline accounts, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), etc.).

  • Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and labor controls are in place and effective.

  • Guide, motivate and develop employees within the Human Resources Policy's.

  • Plan, Implement and control the cost budget in the area of responsibility; initiate and steer corrective actions in case of deviations.

  • Participate and support company sponsored initiatives such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Lean

  • Manufacturing, Employee Safety.

  • Manage investigations, documents, and reports all on the job accidents following company safety procedures.

  • This position is responsible for ensuring that all Sanitation Team Members possess and demonstrate the knowledge to follow all applicable chemical safety and food safety procedures.

  • This position is responsible for developing a sanitation schedule to meet the Sanitation SOP frequency.

Ideal Candidate

  • The ideal candidate will lead employees to ensure compliance with all safety, company, and regulatory procedures. In addition, ensuring that the sanitation process meets all FDA and/or USDA and internal requirements.

  • The individual will ensure that the sanitation SOP is being followed and all activities are documented per company policy.

  • Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), sanitation processes/procedures and HACCP.

NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Other duties as assigned.

The salary for this position is $90K with weekly pay, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.

You Have

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree, equivalent, or a minimum of 10 years related experience in warehouse, logistics and sanitation within a manufacturing industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office.

  • Basic knowledge of Demand Planning and Vendor Management.

  • Proven success in improving work processes, leading change, and role models positive behaviors as well as change agent.

  • skills in a complex and fast paced environment.

  • Ability to interact with employees, customers, and vendors at all levels.

Intellectual/Social demands:

While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires constant attendance and punctuality
