Elgin Veterinary Hospital is looking to hire an experienced Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join their incredible Equine team!!

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer service orientated candidate with a positive, outgoing personality to join our team. Being a part of our team, you will perform a broad range of simultaneous duties that will include:

• Answer multi-line phone system

• Schedule appointments

• Assist with checking patients in and out

• Generate invoices

• Process payments

• Package lab work

• Run end of day closings

Requirements include:

• High school diploma or GED

• At least one-year experience in a customer service position

• Equine experience strongly desired

• Bilingual is a plus

• Excellent communication skills-verbal and written

• Ability to prioritize in a busy environment

• Positive attitude

• Must be a team player

• Shifts may vary between 7am-6pm Monday-Friday

• Work 1-2 Saturdays a month from 8am-noon
