This position provides support to the Administrator of the Horsemanship Program at the Hanson Center Barn of Ray Graham Association. The purpose of the position is to provide therapeutic instruction to people with disabilities and some office/clerical support for the Administrator, as well as uphold the mission and values of Ray Graham Association. The candidate should be comfortable working in a barn with large and small animals.
Provide therapeutic instruction to people with disabilities.
Completes all projects and duties as requested by the Administrator.
Must have accurate word processing, typing and math skills.
Prepare correspondence, contact lists, rosters, reports, newsletters, information for special events, etc.
Answer incoming telephone calls; take messages and direct information to the appropriate employee.
Retrieve voice mail, record messages and direct the information to the appropriate employee.
Provide registration forms for each of the horsemanship program sessions
Process and record registration forms and payments
Review forms to ensure they are completed accurately
Make sure payments have been collected
Follow up with riders to collect missing forms and payments
Be comfortable working with horses
Take Volunteer Horsemanship Training
Assist with horsemanship lessons as needed
Assist with care of small injured animal as needed
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
MUST have PATH certification
1 to 2 years of job related experience
Computer skills, Word, Excel, Publisher
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday; Must be flexible with hours
Wages: $12.00 per hour
