The successful selectee will perform the following duties:
You will administer the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) EEO discrimination complaints processing programs including the design, development, and implementation of all local policies and procedures related to EEO discrimination complaints.
You will ensure that all EEO complaints are processed in accordance with all EEOC Laws, Statutes, Management Directives, Policies, Procedures, and EEO Case Law.
You will develop policy options and alternatives, and make recommendations.
You will analyze the complaints data to identify common problems and trends.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of an EQUAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Monitoring complaint activity across the command and performing trend analysis to identify problems and make recommendations for solutions to higher command officials; 2) Conducting and leading studies, organizational reviews, workforce analysis and evaluations to detect and eliminate programmatic deficiencies; 3) Directing or conducting analysis and studies on a variety of human resources issues and often providing briefings/presentations to top management officials; 4) Directing/participating in long term projects, e.g, streamlining the complaint investigation process.
