Job Description

An electronic quality notification (eQN) is raised in SAP when a manufactured component does not conform to blueprint requirements. An engineering review is required to determine if the component fulfills engineering and customer requirements.

The eQN Quality Tasking Engineer is responsible for following an established process that reacts to new eQN's posted to SAP. This work includes, SAP query for new QNs, populating a worklog with new QNs, tasking the QN according to coding, uploading supplier data to a database, performing QN modifications based on turnbacks, clearing quality holds, Create or update Q-info records, flag QNs for deletion, and occasionally create QNs.

Duties include the following:

• Follow the eQN Standard Work process

• Upload supplier data to documentum

• Updating QN work log spreadsheet

• Review QN submissions for quality

• Task QNs according to type

• Clear Quality holds

• Create or update Q-info records

• Flag QNs for deletion

• Create QNs

Duties are subject to change as the process is continually improved and customer requirements vary for each SOW.

Qualifications:

• Good organizational skills

• Great attention to detail

• US Persons Required

• Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing industry preferred

Details:

• Full Time

• 1st shift, occasional off shift coverage as needed

• Travel component: <10% locally
