The ePOS Partner Product Manager is responsible for managing the product lifecycle of Certified Partner products and services that fulfil the current and future needs of Elavon.
You will collaborate with our ePOS partners and across the organization to define product strategy and drive the successful execution of that strategy according to agreed priorities.
The ePOS Partner Product Manager is accountable for the successful launch of new products for North America develops and oversees the product launch plan to ensure enterprise readiness and success of the product in market. Success is defined in terms of the sales unit and revenue performance relative to agreed targets.
The incumbent establishes key performance indicators to monitor traction of in-market products and adjusts as required to deliver against KPI's. The incumbent works collaboratively across the Organization such as Operations, Finance and Sales to achieve a collective goals of successfully bringing to market Elavon's Partner ePOS Solutions
Preferred candidates will need to have a mix of strong technical experience and strategic business acumen, providing exceptional technical design and thought leadership to our customers.
Daily responsibilities include:
Establishes and monitors key success and performance metrics to ensure the success of the product post launch, including adoption, service impacts, etc and work with product managers and product marketing to create strategies and tactics to increase product adoption
Ensures continuous improvement of product management activities through best practices, evaluation and implementation of improvements
Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products.
Provides source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
Facilitates inventory turnover and product availability by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production schedules.
Brings new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules
Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated plans with Partner and Commercial planning
Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders.
Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Fosters collaborative working relationship with internal and external stakeholders effectively leveraging expertise, gathering input and facilitating regular updates

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Eight to ten years of related work experience
Comprehensive knowledge of the assigned business line and technical marketing skills
Strong product management, design and development skills
Thorough knowledge of product/program development, pricing, implementation and strategic analysis
Demonstrated marketing and marketing research skills
