As an EPIC Technical Architect, you will oversee the technical designs, implementations, analysis, and modifications of the Epic Anesthesia systems. You will be responsible for creating scheduling and registration workflows as it pertains to build in EPIC and ensure the performance, integrity and reliability of systems components. You will be part of a consortium team with colleagues at affiliated institutions, consisting of clinicians, project managers, analysts, and developers with module specific domain expertise. This position works closely with clinical and business users and assists a multi-disciplinary team. This position requires broad exposure to clinical systems such as the Epic Anesthesia platform, along with clinical workflow and business processes. As a Technical Architect for the Enterprise Epic initiative, this individual will collaborate with appropriate technical and operational leaders from affiliated institutions.

Preferred Criteria

  • Epic Anesthesia, Optime or Cupid Certified

  • Epic build and implementation experience

  • Knowledge of operational and clinical workflows and business processes

  • Experience with programming and/or reporting

Required Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related discipline or related work experience of six to eight years

  • Six to eight years of related work experience

  • Epic Module Certification obtained within six month of employment
