Job Description

  • Ensure compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians - Internal Controls, and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures.

  • Responsible for running food to all tables using tray service, and correct form when delivering of food.

  • Ensure customers achieve a pleasurable dining experience by providing constant, attentive and friendly service to all guests.

  • Assist Servers or Supervisors with any guest requests for service.

  • Responsible for refilling water, delivering beverages, bread service throughout meal and clearing all soiled dishes from the table after the guests are through eating, while continually providing them with a clean, neat eating area.

  • Be knowledgeable about the menu, its items, and descriptions.

  • Knowledge in alcoholic beverages/garnishes and be prepared to answer guest questions.

  • Maintain assigned workstations.

  • Assist other servers and supervisors with all of the above to ensure total teamwork.

  • Help serve tables when called upon by supervisor.

  • Complete checklist of opening and closing side work duties, and others duties assigned by supervisor or CT.

  • Complete all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure a clean, neat work area with adequate supply level.

  • Good communication with sous chef, and all chefs on line, with the possibility of having to expo when called upon

  • Communicate all food and service complaints to the Supervisor.

  • Responsible to maintain a cleanliness of all side stations and restock all food runner stations.

  • Performs as a team member with Hostess/Host, Supervisor, Servers and Kitchen Staff in maintaining a smooth and efficient pace.

  • Responsible for maintaining a good attendance record.

  • May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Board Process.

  • Correctly perform all necessary paper and bookwork at shifts end.

  • Maintains confidential daily record keeping of tips.

  • Attend all training meetings.

  • Assist in other projects, as directed.

Education, Experience & Other Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

  • 1 year experience as an expeditor, server or server assistant in a full service restaurant

  • Prior Food Running, Expo and Serving experience needed.

  • Food handler's permit from relevant government agency.

  • Hepatitis A vaccination.

  • Job offer contingent upon successful completion of background check and pre-employment screening.
