The GW Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) emerged in July 2000, born as a not-for-profit, physician-led practice group. Initially, it functioned autonomously in support of The George Washington University School of Medicine and Sciences, morphing into a robust multi-specialty physician practice group.

Today, it stands tall as the largest independent academic physician practice in the Washington, DC metro region, boasting over 500 physicians and nearly 200 APP providers. In 2018, a pivotal shift occurred when the MFA revised its bylaws, allowing The George Washington University to serve as the sole corporate member while retaining its independent 501c3 status, all in the name of alignment and synergy.

MFA physicians are the cornerstone of comprehensive patient care, offering a holistic approach across 52 medical and surgical specialties. As esteemed members of the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences faculty, they embody the spirit of mentorship and academic excellence, nurturing the next generation of medical professionals. In tandem with its closely knit relationship with The George Washington University and The George Washington University Hospital (GWUH), the MFA maintains active referral ties with 12 area hospitals, fortifying its position as a leading healthcare force in the DC metro region.

Amidst its sterling reputation, the MFA extends its reach beyond the city limits, with a network of community-based practices spanning DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Nestled in the heart of NW Washington, DC, and in close proximity to over 175 resident embassies, the MFA continues to expand its international clinical outreach, forging connections and delivering care on a global scale.

Now, envision yourself as the Epic Certified Sr. Systems Analyst, orchestrating the symphony of electronic health record systems at the MFA.

In this role, you'll be the mastermind behind enhancing and optimizing clinical and financial workflows, collaborating closely with clinicians and providers to implement cutting-edge solutions. You'll navigate the intersection of technical prowess and operational understanding, all while striving to improve application systems functionality and streamline processes.

But that's not all-you'll oversee and direct projects, identify opportunities for technological innovation, and serve as a liaison between end-users, IT, and software vendors. With your knack for project management and a keen eye for detail, you'll ensure that application coding meets specifications and that issues are promptly addressed and resolved.

To thrive in this role, you'll need a minimum of 2 years within a relevant business department, coupled with 4 years of Epic application Analyst experience. Active Epic certification in one or more modules is a must, and a Bachelor's degree (or Associate's degree with significant related experience) will set you up for success.

So, if you're ready to embark on a journey where every keystroke holds the promise of transformation, where innovation meets impact, and where your skills are celebrated and honed-then join us at The GW Medical Faculty Associates and let's shape the future of healthcare together. #HealthcareInnovation #EpicAnalyst #JoinOurTeam
