Pay Range: $71.36/hr - $83.85/hr - $96.33/hr# *Please note, the highest starting rate as a new hire is $83.85/hr, based on applicable experience POSITION SUMMARY: The Epic Pharmacy Beacon Analyst will be responsible for the implementation, management, and maintenance of the Pharmacy related technology and the educational needs associated with the use of all such products.

The incumbent is responsible for monitoring the systems for data quality, efficiency and operation, data integrity, and compliance of all systems with current regulations and standards. The incumbent will ensure that installations meet user needs, priorities, interfaces, and changes while adhering to the system-wide Information Technology standards the incumbent must have or be able to develop an understanding of the business functions of the various departments that are integrated with the Pharmacy system. This position provides expertise and direction in the effective use and continued growth of the software products and will assist in maintaining good vendor and IT relations.

They work collaboratively with clinical departments, information technology department and clinical leadership in the design and implementation of the information system as it applies to clinical practice. They ensure consistency of practice with the mission and vision of Enloe Health, provides informatics project management for assigned tasks, and ensures that projects are accomplished within acceptable time, budget, and quality constraints. They maintain current knowledge of all practice standards as well as policies and procedures that are supported by clinical applications.

The Epic Pharmacy Beacon Analyst contributes to the service excellence mission of Enloe Health, Pharmacy, and Information Technology Department.# More specifically, the Epic Pharmacy Beacon Analyst drives the design of the clinical EHR to support and enhance the delivery of patient care in the practice area of oncology. The Pharmacy Beacon Analyst functions as a resource to other members of the healthcare team in utilization of clinical EHR in the acute care and ambulatory environments, with special emphasis on medication safety; carries out all aspects of the job using good clinical judgment and problem-solving skills; and assumes responsibility for self-development within the role. #The Pharmacy Beacon Analyst is responsible for creating a library of oncology treatment plans, supportive care plans, and therapy plans for standard patient care and research. This pharmacist analyst also contributes to effective process and workflow design, development, and implementation within the EHR. # EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE: Minimum: ## #Two years
