Job Description:
Application System Technical Analyst-Staff is responsible for providing analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation and support (technical and functional) of administrative, financial, or clinical information systems. Staff-level professional experienced in all aspects of healthcare related information systems. Encompasses full knowledge required within the configuration, installation, design, testing, implementation and maintenance of administrative, financial, or clinical information systems. Is able to function independently with minimal oversight and direction.
As an Epic Application Analyst you need to know how to Analyze and document user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems.
Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
Document workflows, configure and/or build activities, change management adherence, end user notifications, training information and status reporting in the appropriate system
Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards
Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve work flow. Coordinate and link the application within an organization to increase compatibility for information sharing
Review and analyze the system and performance indicators to locate problems, and correct errors. Escalate problems and issues to appropriate staff to ensure timely resolution
Coordinate projects, schedule and facilitate meetings as necessary to complete assignments.
Implement and update payer rosters
Update and Support the Compass Rose module
Experience with Value-Based Contracts preferred
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent, required
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare, technology or related field, required.
Current certification in Epic Healthy Planet and Compass Rose.
One plus years, experience building Compass Rose programs or Healthy Planet content.
Experience building quality content for ACO and VBC contracts.
Experience building Healthy Planet Analytic tools
Physical Requirements:
Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.
Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
See and read computer monitors and documents.
Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling and reaching.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
