Strong PM and functional skills in system-wide healthcare data curation (30 Epic modules, especially
Amb, IP, Quality, Billing, and external systems, and vendors); data modeling; architecture, navigation, security, role, and experienced Tableau/visualization operations and best practice. Capable of educating eager physicians on Enterprise Software Development Life Cycle. This position directly manages projects for a team of 10 developers, analysts, and consultants who leverage VMC's data in Epic to drive insight and deliver meaningful, actionable reporting that is executable, functional, and self-serviceable for end users.
Customer-facing/physician-facing consultant skills such as evolving customer requests for actionable and measurable results, understanding objectives, identifying gaps and recommending solutions using enterprise class vendor and custom software, data governance, and best practice analytic solutions
Accountability and goal-setting
Broad Epic Clinical healthcare domain knowledge
Exceptional analytical skills, data governance stewardship, and Enterprise Software Development Life Cycle discipline
A strong SQL background
Familiarity with the Healthcare Data Warehouses like Epic Clarity and Caboodle data models Epic certifications are strongly desired
A working knowledge of an advanced visualization tool such as Tableau
Knowledge of information architecture and systems integration
Knowledge of commercial or enterprise software development practices
