NTT DATA Services currently seeks an Epic Clinical Business Systems Site Liaison to join our Epic Clinical Service Desk. This position will be located in Boston, MA. If you do not currently reside in this local area, we will consider relocation to Boston for this role. This role will provide our client with a knowledge leader experienced in clinical and technical processes within the Epic application suite. This individual will possess deep clinical expertise and a successful track record of addressing the clinical process issues and workflow optimization regarding the use of Epic's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software suite. The person will help guide the clinical support team, as well as work directly with the physicians and senior clinicians. The primary role is to function as a liaison between the NTT DATA Services Advanced ACSD (ACSD) and the Customer EPIC Team. This role provides our Customer with a knowledge leader experienced in clinical and technical processes of the EPIC application suite. This person will help guide the clinical support team, as well as work directly with Customer leadership, physicians, and senior clinicians, and, the NTT Data Service Desk clinical, technical and service management components. This position is required to be local to the Customer to best serve as the liaison between the Customer and the NTT DATA Services Advanced ACSD (ACSD).
Facilitate biweekly Inpatient and Ambulatory ticket audit review meetings
Attend Customer IT and EPIC related meetings
Notify ACSD of pertinent EPIC implementations, changes and scheduled downtimes
Attend operations call with Customer
Attend quarterly NTT Data Customer Executive held meetings
Develop knowledge base documents with Customer EPIC team
Update knowledge base articles flagged for revision
Develop Customer specific EPIC training content for ACS
Review daily reports for compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Complete Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for ACSD related high severity incidents or problems when requested by the Customer
Generate ad hoc ITSM reports
Assist Service Desk Manager with high severity incident management and broadcast communications
Assist Customer with end user support during EPIC go-live implementations
Assist Customer network access requests for ACSD agents
Create or revise ACSD Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents
Oversee project work hours requested by Customer
3-5 years clinical nursing experience
5 years of experience in Epic implementation and support
Experience using Epic in the hospital setting for 1-2+ years
Familiarity with working help tickets and day to day help desk functions
Proficient in extracting data and running statistical reports
Deep clinical expertise and a successful track record of addressing the clinical process issues and workflow optimization regarding the use of Epic's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software suite
Registered Nurse (RN)
Nursing informatics experience would be plus
Previous history managing a help desk or staff that have supported IT clinical systems
Experience in EMR system integration with other clinical systems
Certification in one or more of the following Epic modules: Ambulatory, ASAP, Inpatient Orders and/or Clindoc, ADT or Willow
Additional experience in one or more of any of the following Epic modules: Prelude, Cadence, HIMS, Resolute HB, Resolute PB, MyChart, EpicLink, EpicWeb, and/or Clarity
