Epic Resolute Revenue Cycle Contract Management/Patient Access
In this role, the successful candidate for the Clinical Application Analyst will be responsible for regular day-to-day communication, troubleshooting, software design, build and testing for the Epic Revenue Cycle Contract Management. Primary role is supporting the system and end users to make sure the technology is optimized to provide best enhance work processes and overall patient care. This role will also support Patient Access applications
Responsible for planning, design, build, testing and implementing of information systems that support and enhance revenue cycle and patient access workflows.
Able to independently evaluate systems, analyze complex issues and problems, test data and assist customers in reaching resolution(s).
Possesses a strong understanding of core functions for the billing office, including knowledge of overall Revenue Cycle Contract Management.
Possesses an understanding of Patient Access applications.
Familiar with any regulations and compliance issues surrounding billing processes.
Participates and leads testing of module updates, enhancements, custom programming and new releases.
Provides ongoing maintenance and support for assigned applications with little to no assistance.
Provides support in the training of staff on new computer systems, application upgrades, and new functionality.
Able to utilize current issue tracking software to document contact with customers and resolutions to issues.
Will routinely manage IS related & non-IS related projects with limited management oversight.
Must work effectively with team members, have strong communication skills and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Relevant health care IT experience. Previous teaching/training and project management is a plus.
Epic certification required or experience in the Epic billing modules known as Resolute. (Epic certification is required within 6 months from employment.)
Solid comprehension of billing practices and the ability to work with patients and payers to resolve issues.
Familiarity with Patient Access applications and registration/scheduling workflows.
Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills required to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external contacts.
Strong skills in PC desktop applications such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work flexible schedules to meet job requirements; requires occasional after hours support.
