EPC Scheduler

EPC SCHEDULERThe EPC Scheduler will be responsible for utilizing Project Controls standard processes and tools used to plan and schedule the scope of work, organize the budgeted costs to support monitoring, measuring progress, reporting, and forecasting the overall performance of a project.This role as EPC Scheduler competently performs all aspects of planning/scheduling, engineering, procurement, and construction field project assignments according to training, capability and experience. Works closely with the project team to analyze data, reporting and provide mitigations plans as required.ESSENTIAL JOB DESCRIPTIONUnderstand EPC work process and dependencies between engineering, procurement, and construction functions. Demonstrates the capability of leading the project control function of a project and able to influence internal and external clients. Lead facilitator of project schedule forecasts. Recognizes issues and advises project team on matters affecting project execution.Duties include but not limited to: * Prepare input to weekly and monthly reports * Leads weekly progress and schedule meetings * Responsible for earned value progress measurement * Leads project controls scheduling team in development, baseline, and schedule maintenance for: Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Start-up, and Commissioning schedules * Analyzes and provides input on schedules developed by 3rd party vendors * Interfaces with project team for Planning and Scheduling activities * Ensures constructability is part of planning process. * Applies key industry standard cost control processes. * Ensures systems are in place to know work status and identify issues proactively. * Interfaces with management team to identify issues. * Advises project teams on matters affecting project success. * Drive project team to stay planQUALIFICATIONSLicenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations * None requiredEducation, Experience, and/or Training * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (Preferred). * Previous experience working on EPC industrial type projects.* 15 years of experience working as a Project Scheduler and in using Primavera P6.Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities * English Language - Proficient in the use of the English language.ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSEmployment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen.
