EPBCS Senior Consultant

Work you'll do

As a Sr. Consultant within our Finance & Enterprise Performance Offering, you will:

  • Design, develop, implement and support financial planning and reporting solutions using Oracle EPBCS as well as providing technical and functional guidance, assistance and support to client staff using this product and service

  • Perform unit, system and interface testing associated with the Oracle EPBCS product and corresponding system interface areas, as well as provide guidance and assistance to client staff to support these testing activities

  • Develop associated technical and functional Oracle EPCBS documentation including but not limited to requirements, design, code testing and end user documents, etc.

  • Attend and participate in requisite project and operational meetings and work sessions and provide timely updates on work performed to client peers, management and the client Oracle EPBCS customer community

  • Perform project tasks independently, and may direct the efforts of others

  • Participate in and/or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract

  • Anticipate client needs and formulate solutions to client issues

  • Review deliverables for accuracy and quality

  • Provides coaching to junior staff

  • Contributes to new business proposals and proposal development

  • Manages own personal and professional development; seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of consulting skills and experiences

Our Finance & Enterprise Performance team works as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. We advise, implement and deliver as-a-service solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, science, business, finance or other business-related field

  • 5+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience in financial analysis and/or implementations

  • Experience using Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service

  • Experience working independently with minimal guidance

  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience

  • Travel up to 25% or more (While 25% or more travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)

  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required Security Clearance for this role

Preferred:

  • Prior professional services or government consulting experience

  • Experience working independently with minimal guidance

  • Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience

The Data Analytics Senior Consultant role will be required to execute analytical projects working closely with senior stakeholders and clients to deliver value to financial institution clients. They will apply statistics, data profiling techniques, machine-learning techniques primarily to projects in the financial crime domain and therefore need a strong understanding of anti-money laundering and the banking industry.
