Assists in the coordination and monitoring of sensitive aspects of the DoD, NSA, and other industrial security programs and customers, ensuring compliance with government and Company security policies and procedures.
Responsible for designated information system compliance at system level; including but not limited to technical configuration analysis, documentation creation/update, hardware/software management, self-inspections, troubleshooting, marking, etc.
Responsible for the receipt, custody, issue, safeguarding, and accounting of materials.
Networks with internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. Interacts with internal and external personnel on matters that may require coordination between organizations.
Represents organization as a prime contact on projects, often coordinating activities of support personnel and communicating effectively. Obtaining or providing information or data on matters of importance to the function of the programs of which may be of sensitive nature.
Assists in the development of solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established policies and procedures.
May assist or conduct security briefings and security education programs.
Generally works on complex assignments which are given in terms of objectives to be accomplished and priorities to be followed. Requires considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments. May be an informal team leader.
Basic Qualifications / Requirements
Must be able to obtain US DoD Security Clearance - US Citizenship Required
Candidates for this role should possess a AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
Strong communication and project coordination skills
Security+ Certification Preferred
CISSP Certification Preferred
