PharMEDium Services, LLC is a growing outsource compounding organization servicing hospitals nationwide. Our growth now has encouraged our business to seek QC staff to perform and/ or supervise analytical testing in our analytical testing lab. This position will report to the Quality Organization of PharMEDium

Laboratory Technician at this facility will perform solution preparation and maintain a properly supplied laboratory. Technicians will abide by all documentation procedures and maintain a level of professionalism throughout each working day. The technician must be familiar with cGMP/GLP and 21 CFR Part 11 procedures.

  • Receiving, storage, and logging in samples for testing analysis.

  • Setting up and ensuring appropriate solutions and standards are prepared daily.

  • Keeping the laboratory clean

  • Ordering supplies and other materials

  • Maintains the supply inventory for the laboratory.

  • Maintains the daily cleanliness of the laboratory.

  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures

  • Support in all regulatory inspections: FDA, DEA, Board of Pharmacy, and Internal Audits

  • Associate degree in science

  • Knowledge of laboratory techniques

  • Ability to execute planned projects

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Computer knowledge of spreadsheet software, Microsoft Word and Excel

Troubleshoots, assembles, solders, dismantles, modifies, adjusts, repairs, and/or rebuilds equipment used in the engineering and manufacturing process. Uses test and diagnostic equipment, schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts and/or defined plans to perform operational testing, fault-isolation, and/or checkout functions on systems and equipment. Maintains lab processes & documentation in accordance with IATF 16949. Supports projects and tasks associated with local lab efforts and Global Development Lab projects. Minimum requirements * Associate's degree in electronics, related technical discipline or equivalent military electronics training * Fundamental knowledge of basic electronics, basic technical science and applied electrical * Fundamental knowledge of basic mechanics & mechatronics Preferred qualifications * Self-driven with ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision * Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and working under various distractions and constraint * Ability to learn and understand electro-mechanical systems * Outstanding troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems * Exceptional attention to detail * Experience working with bench and automated test equipment * Experience soldering * Proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint * Excellent verbal and written communication skills If you are interested in this position, please apply to this requisition.
