Position Summary:

Coordinates operational activities of the Electrophysiology procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab in accordance with the accepted standards and policies. Main responsibilities include assisting the manager in training department personnel, maintaining equipment and supply levels, maintaining CQI and customer service program, and maintaining up to date policies and procedures. In addition, will function in a staff capacity as needed.

Reports To (title): Cath Lab Manager

Supervises (title): EP Staff

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:

  • California RN License and/or AART

  • CRT License

  • ACLS certification

  • BCLS certification

Education / Experience:

  • Successful completion of cardiac dysrhythmia or possess equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge of Heart Rhythm Society regulatory standards and requirements.
