Wells Fargo's Chief Administrative Office (CAO) consists of enterprise functions that work together to promote and protect the Wells Fargo culture and brand, and support our team members. The Data Management & Insight Group (DMI) is seeking a candidate to join the team focused on the eONE strategic initiative. The eONE initiative seeks to build a 'one number' instrument data foundation that is complete, reliable, and aligned to the general ledger. The initiative will also establish the authoritative data source for common data elements between Corporate Finance and Corporate Risk management to support in scope risk and regulatory reporting. eONE will create a federated, coordinated set of applications and databases to support risk and finance, which will allow for agile and accurate risk and regulatory reporting and analytics that complies with BCBS 239, G&O and the Wells Fargo Enterprise Data Governance Policies and Standards.
This role is focused on the enabling the future state of data provisioning for risk reports. The candidate will be required to lead the following activities:
Lead efforts with associates across the Lines of Business, Finance, Risk and DMI areas to inventory, analyze and define all business and data requirements associated with in-scope risk reports
Partner with associates across the Lines of Business, Finance, Risk and DMI areas to identify and support transition to future state data provisioning point/source for the logical data elements required for in-scope risk reports
Support efforts in the mapping of data and business elements to the eONE's OFSAA FSDF data model
Data Management and Insights (DMI) is transforming the way that Wells Fargo uses and manages data. Our work enables Wells Fargo to empower and inform our team members, deliver exceptional experiences for our customers, and meet the elevated expectations of our regulators. The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers' financial needs.
Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to and if applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Other Desired Qualifications
5+ years of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools
Knowledge and understanding of data warehouse application design and development
Experience developing banking operational reporting and performing complex data analysis
Experience creating ad hoc and re-occurring reporting for business purposes
Knowledge and understanding of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) Financial Service Data Foundation (FSDF)
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Knowledge and understanding of data governance challenges and approaches: metadata, data quality, and data stewardship
Knowledge and understanding of regulatory reporting: Federal Reserve, OCC, and SEC
Knowledge and understanding of banking risk reporting (e.g. Liquidity, Concentration of exposures, Enterprise Risk)
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
Solid creative and strategic thinking skills
Experience designing and optimizing complex SQL queries involving table joins and correlated sub-queries on large scale data tables
