Position Overview

The Davey Resource Group is looking to add Temporary Environmental Technicians to support our team of environmental professionals performing work in vegetation management.

This is a temporary, full time position with an estimated duration of May through September

Job Duties

The ideal candidate will provide our government, utility, commercial and not-for-profit clients with the services and solutions needed to efficiently and effectively manage natural resources, comply with policies and obtain regulatory permits. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Identify native and non-native species (plant and insect)

• Prescribe appropriate vegetation management techniques based on our client's needs

• Safely apply herbicide/insecticide

• Safely operate mowing equipment (zero turn mowers, tractors, string trimmers)

• Work independently and with attention to detail.

Qualifications

Education and Qualifications:

An individual must be able to perform each essential job duty consistently and satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Driver's license and clean driving record are required, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be required by project.

• Experience with mowing equipment.

• Landscaping experience preferred.
