Environmental Services Worker

Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations - Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York.

JOB SUMMARY: Working under the direction of the Director/Supervisor, performs a variety of duties to maintain the hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS; No formal experience required

Education: Should be able to follow oral and written instruction

Physical & Other Factors: Manual dexterity is needed. Must be able to kneel, crouch, lift, carry, reach and work on a ladder

Work & Environmental Conditions: Handling of infectious waste and cleaning chemicals
