Environmental Services Technician / Commercial Housekeeping

The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for:

  • Maintaining hospital facilities in a clean and sanitary condition

  • Reading warning signs and safety instruction

  • Working quickly and accurately and follow requests

  • Having the manual ability to perform such tasks as mopping, buffing, polishing, scrubbing, and moving furniture

  • Performing repetitive cleaning operations throughout the workday, under specific instructions with little need for judgement in working out job problems

  • Planning and coordinating all laundry activities using judgmental and verifiable criteria to evaluate performance equipment and various aspects of the laundry program


The Environmental Services Technician must:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Have some form of commercial housekeeping experience, preferably in a healthcare setting or hospital

Key Responsibilities * The primary role of a Field Marketing Manager (FMM) is to be the main point of contact, accountability and ownership for their offer(s) in North America- leading and enhancing the enablement with the field, including inside services sales, outside services sales, hardware teams, marketing and core account sales. Enablement encompasses any/all activities to drive the business; including identifying opportunities and developing action plans to monetize, sales training, creating partnerships to connect efforts, using analytics to inform stakeholders and leading promotions/plays to move the needle. * Manage Run-The-Business (RTB) forums and coordinate with cross-functional teams (i.e Services Sales, Core Sales, PG, HW CoC) to drive Revenue * Apply broad knowledge of company's product/service capabilities and competitive environment to develop growth plans for service offerings * Work across functional areas to gather input and create go-to-market plans, initiatives and execute accordingly * Build consensus and influence a broad spectrum of stakeholders to achieve defined business goals. * Actively participate in weekly services core team / product group forums and collaborate with cross functional teams to support new service introductions (NSI). * Maintain services portfolio & technical knowledge, become SME within North America for your assigned products/offers * Communicate & collaborate with peers from other regions to ID and leverage best practices. * Work closely with high levels of management, across functions and externally to develop effective strategies and programs to meet functional and cross-functional goals. Essential Requirements * Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant cross-functional experience (i.e product line management, merchandising, marketing, planning). * Basic knowledge of Support & Deployment Services. * Proven effectiveness in a matrixed, multi-cultural, global environment; must be able to understand necessities from other regions/countries. * Experience driving collaboration and alignment across all levels of the organization to enable smooth execution throughout the product life cycle. * Possess an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset with ability to establish credibility and influence cross-functional stakeholders. * Have a proven track record as a decisive, action-oriented individual who has led cross-functional global teams to define and achieve high value objectives and results. * Must have exceptional interpersonal and analytical skills. * Excellent written and oral communications skills, executive level presentation capacity * Strategy creation/setting, strong understanding of the competition, and solution level market expertise. * Proficiency in MS Office tools Desirable Requirements * MBA * Knowledge and/or experience in storage and/or converged technology industry is a strong plus Dell is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
