Environmental Services Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY Supervise all housekeeping and laundry programs within the Hospital and designated auxiliary buildings.# Ensures the highest level of quality control, complies with all regulatory requirements including but not limited to Joint Commission, bloodborne pathogens, infection control and hazardous waste; educates staff on all regulatory and safety job related requirements, and supervises the laundry operations of the hospital to ensure sanitary conditions and an appropriate supply of linens.

QUALIFICATION EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent. Special courses in housekeeping and/or institutional management preferred. EXPERIENCE/SKILL SETS: Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Environmental Services or equivalent role. 3-5 years of recent Environmental Services management experience in a healthcare environment preferred. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S): None required.
