Our project managers are expected to lead project teams, develop strategic approaches to deliver business value, engage with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders, and manage schedules and budgets. We are open to candidates working hybrid or remotely to support our South Florida Environmental Services team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Managing projects, including, but not limited to, developing proposals, contracting, leading project teams, forecasting, invoicing, and accounts receivable management.
Delivering professional services on time and without error in accordance with local and state regulations and within the planned level of project profitability.
Managing and executing environmental site assessments, groundwater monitoring programs, soil and groundwater remedial actions, environmental compliance auditing and permitting, and related environmental services with senior oversight.
Making decisions independently and/or collaboratively on engineering or scientific problems and methods.
Providing technical and operational direction with responsibility for delivering positive outcomes.
Writing technical reports and related work products.
Communicating with clients, third party, and regulatory agents regarding project status, schedules, and compliance issues.
Adhering to client and corporate contract specifications in all activities including health, safety, security, and environment.
Mentoring and developing staff.
Contributing to business development activities.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or science required.

2. Professional registration (P.G. or P.E.) is required.

3. Experience in environmental consulting with residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including reporting.

4. Experience in water quality, environmental regulations, and environmental assessment/remediation.

5. Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing.

6. Experience with Miami-Dade DERM. a plus

7. Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training. a plus.

8. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Up to 25 hours per week GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK: The Golf Outside Services position is the first and last point of contact for customers at City operated golf courses and is responsible for providing superior service while maintaining the finest amenities. Golf Outside Services maintains a clean, organized work environment while presenting a professional image for the areas of focus that includes, but is not limited to, bag drop, cart barn and practice facilities. This position is required to work a combination of morning and afternoon/evening shifts on weekdays, weekends and holidays. The position may be scheduled up to 25 hours per week (3 shifts). Acceptance of gratuities is permitted in this position classification. Employee in this position classification shall be responsible for proper reporting (including IRS) of all gratuities. TYPICAL FUNCTIONS: * Greets customers upon arrival and provides a fond farewell at their departure * Retrieves customers golf bag from vehicle and stages on carts for play. * Prepares, operates and performs light maintenance on the golf car fleet * Set up, monitor and break down practice facility operations * Cleans golf clubs following play and returns them to bag drop or vehicle * Washes golf cars and replenishes supplies following play * Maintains a clean and organized work area * Assists with customer's requests as needed KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of: * The game of golf and/or golf course operations * Basic mechanical maintenance practices such as use of grease gun, pneumatic socket wrench, wire brush, and air compressor. * Basic math functions Skill in: * Time management. * Ability to evaluate situations objectively and make an informed decision and judgement * Customer focused interpersonal communications * Problem solving * Ability to: * Communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing * Operate in a high volume, demanding environment * Establish and maintain effective working relationships * Manage and prioritize several tasks at the same time * Safely operate motorized vehicles * Perform light mechanical maintenance on golf carts to include but not limited to grease front ends, change tires, maintain proper tire pressure, and keep battery terminals free of corrosion. * Work a fluctuating schedule that may occur during the week and/or weekend, including holidays. EDUCATIONANDEXPERIENCE: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school. Strong knowledge of or playing experience in the game of golf preferred. Must possess a valid driver's license. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Exposure to extreme temperatures and weather conditions, and animals/reptiles/insects.
