Providence is calling a Environmental Services Manager (1.0 FTE, Days) to Providence Medford Medical Center in Medford, OR.

In this position, you will:

  • Oversee the daily operational needs of the Environmental Services department and may include other departments within the EVS division. Other departments include- Linen Services, Meeting Services, Guest Housing, Linen Services and Transportation.

  • Provide leadership to develop, manage and direct tasks of the department.

  • Assure that staff is trained in accordance to The Joint Commission guidelines (TJC) and dept guidelines.

  • Responsible for assisting in the creation of and monitoring of quality assurance parameters specific to EVS.

  • Provide Leadership to maintain a clean, sanitized and attractive medical facility for our patients, visitors and caregivers.

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelors degree -or-
  • Combination of applicable work experience and education.
  • 3 years in a supervisory or management role in a hospitality setting

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Advanced course work in Environmental services, Business and quality management

  • Knowledge of sound management principles, strong interpersonal communication and motivational skills
