Under general supervision, the environmental services manager is responsible for assisting the operations manager with the day-to-day operations of the environmental services staff in their assigned area and assists the operations manager in any needed capacity. The manager also directly oversees the housekeeping staff.
Provides direct oversight of the environmental services staff
Assists management with monitoring productivity, budgets, and expenditures
Handles and reviews customer comments, complaints, and concerns
Maintains a high level of cleanliness in assigned areas
Ensures that all equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times
Plans and coordinate project work
Attends and participate in departmental staff meetings, development and training courses
Participates in facility Quality Assurance Program and Patient Satisfaction Program as required
Candidate Should Possess:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
At least three years of experience in housekeeping services
Two years of experience as a supervisor with high customer/client contact
A friendly, positive attitude
Competent computer skills
Day shift, Monday - Friday, rotating weekends and rotating holidays
