The Environmental Services Director - Maintenance directs the supervisors and staff who perform job duties in Maintenance, Renovation, Landscaping, Housekeeping, Laundry, Transportation and Security for the entire campus. The EVS Director must have technical skills and expertise in all general areas of maintenance including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and carpentry.
Ensure staff receive adequate training to perform their work safely and correctly and that all training is documented.
Negotiate, hire and supervise facility related work performed by outside contractors.
Cost forecasting for projects and facility operations budget.
Manage operational costs within budget constraints.
Manage and refine the systems used for tracking outstanding and completed work requests.
Ensure campus wide compliance with all building and environmental codes, particularly Life Safety Code, Disaster Preparedness, OSHA and state and local authorities having jurisdiction.
Conduct and evaluate fire and disaster drills and training for all campus staff.
Promote and support the mission and the established policies and procedures at Christian Care Center.
