Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Custodial Manager for Moses Cone Memorial Hospital, providing leadership to the Evening Shift (3:00pm start time). Looking for a strong operations person focused on details and cleaning of support and sterile areas of a 600 bed hospital and some remote sites on property. Strong leadership and technical skills needed to continue to drive our lean processes and improve quality and employee engagement. This acute care facility is located in Greensboro, NC and is the largest and most comprehensive medical center within our five-county region.

A leader in compassionate, quality care, this role will oversee a team of 50 and functions as part of a team of Environmental Service leaders. This opportunity also requires some weekend and holiday coverage on a rotating basis. This manager will support floor care projects, payroll, and lead the team in engagement. Preferred candidates will have management experience in Environmental Services, Hotels housekeeping and/or Custodial Services, military service, and exhibit excellent customer service skills.

The successful candidate will:

• be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores;
• provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;
• work with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director;
• effectively manages the Unit Operating System; and/or
• support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

• have experience leading and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a health care housekeeping system;
• are results and safety driven;
• have in-depth knowledge of housekeeping systems and procedures;
• have experience improving patient satisfaction, and driving full compliance to HCAHPS, local, state and Joint Commission standards;
• have 2-3 years previous custodial / housekeeping or similar management experience., in a hospital, health care experience preferred but not required;
• are proficient with computers and other technology
