Position is responsible for performing routine duties of cleaning and sanitizing patient and non-patient areas of the hospital facilities. EVS Aid job assignments will be performed according to Environmental Services Department Policies and Standards.

EVS Aid's will comply with all regulatory and hospital mandatory training, as well as department provided training. Posting Department Environmental Services Posting Department Description Our Environmental Services(EVS)Department is responsible for the cleaning, sanitation, waste removal, and floor care of all public & common areas of the YRMC campus which includes the main facility as well as offsite locations. The nursing units are cleaned in conjunction with the Environmental Service Aides on the nursing units such as ICU, Medical Surgery, LDRP, Etc.

We are also responsible for providing clean Linen & Laundry services to the various nursing and clinical areas of the facility. This includes the processing of dirty linen. FOR THE GS-09 (or equivalent pay band): Your resume must demonstrate that you have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing site inspections at hazardous waste disposal, determines compliance with applicable laws and regulations, reviewing documents, analyzing evidence.
