Job Description and Duties
Under the general direction of the Community Forestry Supervisor, the incumbent manages projects consistent with a science-based multijurisdictional management strategy to manage community forests efficiently and effectively within and near residential areas. This includes administering contracts, grants and other agreements for forest management projects and planning efforts.
This position oversees the implementation of high priority forest management projects designed to protect communities from wildfire and improve forest health. The incumbent will also provide technical support to the Tahoe Fire and Fuels Team and other Lake Tahoe Basin partner organizations.
