Job Description
Collaborates with scientists, engineers, project managers and construction staff to perform studies and programs of moderate to high complexity in support of client business needs.
Contributes to regulatory compliance programs specifically including Lead and Copper Rule and stormwater/MS4 related projects, with ability to function as Task Manager.
May lead or conduct field site investigations, perform soil, water, air, etc. sampling, wetland delineation, wildlife/habitat surveys, and similar site investigations and documentation of results. Manages field activities and data review, with ability to function as Task Manager.
Under general supervision, contributes to preparation of permitting and compliance documents, field reports, environmental and feasibility studies, etc. of basic to high complexity.
Performs calculations, data analysis, site evaluations, planning and reporting for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater utility related projects including resiliency, collection systems, drainage, flood management, groundwater, resource planning, outfalls, wetlands, stormwater management, watershed management, water supply planning and systems, etc.
May contribute to assessment and design projects and lead field inspections.
May be tasked with oversight of construction activities to ensure project compliance with permit or other regulatory conditions.
Provides technical guidance and training to more junior staff.
Meets with current and potential future clients to review their current and future needs.
Contributes to firm's TKM by developing white papers and technical design documentation of new or special case designs, studies, etc. Submits technical papers and presentations for publishing to technical journals and at conferences. May create or work with a team to create a poster or other presentation material for a conference.
Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline. 3 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
