Environmental Services Project Person

Hours: Per Diem

Position Summary:

The Environmental Services Project Person performs a variety of projects and maintains the Hospital in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition. Strips and refinishes tile floors, shampoos, extracts and buffs carpets, washes walls and may perform any or all duties of Environmental Technicians.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required within two years of hire

• Understand basic verbal and written English language instructions and be able to read, understand and apply directions for proper mixing and use of chemicals

• Must understand and be able to apply concepts of periodic and restorative maintenance techniques for floor, carpet and wall care

• Must demonstrate skills and knowledge for proper use of chemicals and requirement required by the position

• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Six months experience in an Environmental Services Department
