DRIVE AND DETERMINATION
As a Natural Resource Project Manager, you are smart, strong, and have a "roll up your sleeves" attitude towards your work. You have a passion for wetlands along with other natural resources. You are extremely detail-oriented when conducting your evaluations and assessments. You have great communication skills and are easily able to interact with your team and clients. You are comfortable both out on the field as well as in an office setting writing reports. You get the "big" picture and want to contribute accordingly and that's why you'll have all the opportunity for career growth within our company you'll want. You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team and your role is key to the success of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:
Conducting and managing wetland and natural resource projects
Federal [USACE] and State wetlands regulations and guidelines
Performing wetland delineations and documentation
Performing tree stand delineations and forest conservation plans
Understanding the regulatory/permitting process
Performing stream assessments and studies
CAD or mapping capabilities
Project management, proposal generation and preparation, business development, and managing client relationships

If you can accomplish the above, your boots are probably ready for walking right into this role. Realistically though, you need the following to be considered:
BS in Biology, Geology, or a discipline related to Environmental Science
3+ years of professional working experience on natural resource projects highly desirable
Certified Arborist or MD Qualified Professional registration a plus
