We are currently hiring an Environmental Project Manager in our Environmental Investigation & Remediation Group in our Ballston Spa, NY office.The Investigation & Remediation Group at LaBella provides a full range of environmental due diligence services from initial assessment to remediation. The successful candidate must have a minimum of five yearsproject management experience with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) programs including but not limited to the Brownfield Cleanup Program and Spills program. Experience managing assignments under state-agency contracts (i.e., NYSDEC, New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), the Office of General Services (OGS)), and/or assignments with United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) oversight or funding is preferred.
The Project Manager will manage existing clients and projects; network, market, and cross-sell; and, help train and mentor junior staff. This is an opportunity for a smart and talented professional to perform in a role with enormous upside potential as part of a growing company.
· Managing scope, schedule, budget and invoicing for tasks including site investigations, tank closures, site remediation, well installation, well abandonment, and other field work.
· Oversees staff working on projects to ensure work is done correctly and within budget.
· Client and regulatory correspondence.
· Technical report preparation and review.
· Preparing cost estimates and proposals.
· Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders.
· Coordinating work schedules with LaBella staff and subcontractors.
· Initiating business development activities including attending conferences, client events, business lunches, etc.
· Coordinates with corporate and project-level safety and quality management staff to ensure all projects are conducted in accordance with applicable safety and quality standards.
· May require limited travel for field visits.
· MS Office suite experience.
Requirements
Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000 per year
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
