Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Oversees and manages all aspects of environmental compliance for the facility

  • Prepares and/or oversees environmental related permits and plans including but not limited to Title V (FESOP), EPCRA and RCRA

  • Acts as a resource during environmental related incidents

  • Implements sustainable facility environmental compliance strategy

  • Provides continuous oversight for all facility environmental programs

  • Sustain all environmental related training programs

  • Represents the facility in interactions with regulatory agencies

  • Maintains a proficient knowledge of current federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations that may impact operations

  • Develops facility environmental programs and procedures

  • Ensures that all environmental related records are complete and accessible

  • Reviews all process/chemical changes and determine environmental impacts

  • Conducts "hands on" environmental compliance activities such as hazardous waste and storm water inspections

  • Partners with Corporate Environmental staff to ensure compliance with corporate policies

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Requirements:


Minimum Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering/Science or related field


  • Minimum 5-7 years related multi-media environmental compliance experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Extensive technical multi-media environmental experience

  • Extensive experience in air quality permitting and regulations

  • RCRA Large Quantity Generator compliance experience

  • Experience in designing facility specific compliance documents such as Spill Response & Storm water plans

  • Experience in designing and delivering various environmental training programs

VIEW JOBS 9/12/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-12-11T00:00 Job Summary Job Title: Natural/Organic Department Manager FLSA Status: Salary Reports To: Store Director/Department Director Responsible for all aspects of operating the Natural/Organic department in store to achieve or exceed sales, gross profit and labor goals. This includes but not limited to ordering, processing invoices, stocking (ad and every day in stock), facing and maintaining of inline aisles and secondary displays, inventory and back stock controls, creating work schedules, managing store level pricing and submitting guests requests/new items. Natural Foods Department Leaders oversee Associates that provide Festival Foods guests with all natural, chemical-free and non-GMO options that fit their unique dietary preferences. Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Planning workload * Executing display standards * Interrelate with all in-store management and Department Director * Properly manage inventory to achieve acceptable unallocated/shrink figures * Support and execute superior customer service * Follow through on Guest requests * Perform other duties as assigned * Responsible for the department's timekeeping accuracy. Communicate to HR regarding any missing time, transferred hours, and schedule issues. * Ensure all quality standards are being met, including quantity expectations at 100% by 10 am and 5 pm * Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences * Other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands and work environment described below are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. * The associate must possess the ability to stand in place for long periods of time; walk in the store; bend, stoop and kneel regularly. Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination in order to operate equipment. * This position requires the associate have the ability to have full range of upper body motion in order to occasionally lift stock. Requires the ability to perform repetitive tasks for prolonged periods of time. * Must possess functional sensory abilities in order to visually monitor the store, create attractive displays, and to operate equipment. * Working conditions consist primarily of a temperature-controlled environment. WORK SCHEDULE The Natural/Organic Department Manager is a full time salaried position. The work schedule will include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
