Pace University's Elisabeth Haub School of Law is hiring an Environmental Law Graduate Fellow. The Fellow will work part-time in the Pace Environmental Law Program while working towards an LL.M in Environmental Law.

Since 1978, Pace University's Elisabeth Haub School of Law has provided an internationally acclaimed environmental legal education. Our dedicated faculty have been pioneers in developing and implementing environmental law and continue to serve as national and world leaders in the field. Our alumni work in law firms, government agencies, corporations, nonprofit organizations, and law schools and universities across the country and around the world. We offer more than 40 environmental law courses. Only admitted students for the LLM in Environmental Law can apply

Responsibilities will be varied and may include:

  • assisting with legal research and drafting of the problem and the bench memorandum for the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition
  • preparing grant proposals for the Environmental Law Program
  • assisting with conferences, events, meetings, and publications
  • acting as a liaison to law school student organizations with an environmental focus
  • meeting and communicating with prospective students to discuss the Pace Environmental Law Program
  • working on new program initiatives as they are developed and implemented
  • updating and managing the Pace Environmental Law Alumni database, serving on the Pace Environmental Law Alumni Association (PELAA) Board and working on PELAA projects as needed
  • other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Candidate for the LL.M in Environmental Law degree at Elisabeth Haub School of Law
  • strong academic qualifications
  • excellent professional and communication skills
  • strong writing ability
  • excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • a demonstrated interest in environmental law (defined broadly)
