Employee will implement, maintain and monitor compliance of injury and illness management and prevention/elimination methods as needed to assure compliance with current, emerging and/or changing Federal, state and local health regulations.
Employee will also support the Bell Health & Safety Program at Fort Worth, Texas locations as needed.
Maintain tracking of injury and illness reports and day to day compliance for Bell facilities with regards to applicable Federal and State regulations
Provide health & hygiene training to employees
Provide general day to day safety & health program compliance support
Participate and assist in incident investigations to identify causes and recommend corrections.
Assist with the internal auditing of compliance programs as needed
Assists in providing to employees a place of employment free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees.
Assesses the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Investigates safety and health complaints and incidents.
Implements processes, procedures and programs that reduce and eliminate work environment hazards and threats.
Provides technical expertise to the business unit regarding day-to-day process operations, process changes and /or relocations, new processes, new products, new technology, new facilities and/or equipment and interaction with contract
Bachelors or Associate Degree in Nursing, Sports Medicine/Kinesiology, Physiology, or related field
The below certifications are preferred:
Nursing assistant (CNA) Nursing assistants also go by the title of nursing aides or CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants)
Licensed practical nurse (LPN)
Registered nurse (RN)
Advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs)
Minimum of two years of experience in Nursing, Environmental Health and Safety, or Industrial Hygiene
Detailed Problem Solving
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Ability to self-manage and interact with teammates to assure a constructive, productive and efficient work environment
Familiar with occupational Worker's Compensation
