Purpose of Position
The Environment Health and Safety, Manager assists the Director, Ground Safety in managing the continuous compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations at all NetJets facilities nationwide. In addition, the Environmental Health and Safety, Manager ensures the well-being of employees through the deployment and maintenance of safety and wellness programs including training, ergonomic and hearing assessments.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Reviews and approves internal procedures to ensure company compliance with applicable safety regulations including but not limited to OSHA, EPA, Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at all NetJets facilities nationwide.
Develops, distributes, and oversees environmental and safety policies as outlined in the NetJets Safety Management Manual (SMM) and EH&S Manual at NetJets facilities nationwide. This includes safety monitoring of employees and organizations outputs including but not limited to industrial hygiene monitoring, hazardous waste disposal, and hazardous waste manifests at all NetJets facilities nationwide.
Assists in the development and analysis of relevant ground safety related metrics to identify trends and safety program to recognize hazards to solve complex problems.
Performs Safety Investigations to determine root cause of events and recommends best practices to mitigate future occurrences and reduce risk in the operation nationwide.
Leads cross functional teams and collaborates with various departments to address and mitigate risk identified in the operation.
Maintains NetJets nationwide NetJets Safety Action Form (NJSAF), OSHA Records, and EPA records.
Tracks and reports yearly Bureau of Labor Statics (BLS) records and reports
Education
Bachelor's in Business Administration or Aviation Management

Requires knowledge and experience with audiometric testing program, respiratory protection program, and hazardous materials.
Experience with root-cause analysis and process development to identify innovated solutions to the operation.

Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to effectively manage multiple work groups and projects.
PC Skills including MS office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, TEAMS)
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
