Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Enviromental Health & Safety Manager

The Enviromental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager will be tasked with ensuring safe working conditions for all team members at Sedron sites. You will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to employee safety and regulatory requirements. Your administrative skills, attention to detail, and passion for safety will be instrumental in coordinating and supporting various EH&S initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and promote general safety policies and procedures to be followed by company or field personnel in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations

  • Arrange and deliver training programs educating staff on environmental concerns or health and safety risks found in the organization

  • Measure, evaluate, and recommend changes on the effectiveness of hazard management systems, policies and procedures to eliminate workplace injuries

  • Assist in site health and safety investigations to ensure proper corrective and preventative measures have been implemented

  • Develop site/project specific safety orientations for employees and visitors Coordinate with leadership to develop and manage site-specific EHS programs

  • Foster a culture of safety by promoting open communication and reporting of safety concerns

  • Confirm that equipment inspections, preparation of reports, and follow-up on all noted deficiencies are completed

  • Monitor industrial construction, operations and manufacturing work and enforce compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards across multiples states/sites

  • Develop metrics to report, measure, and track safety compliance, including Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR)

  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures

  • Lead companywide Safety meetings

  • Review incident reports and maintain monthly statistics to identify undesirable trends

  • Interact with regulatory bodies and clients, taking a hands-on approach and acting as the point of contact

  • Work alongside managers/employees on EHS issues

  • Recognize safety hazards or unsafe work practices and develop corrective action plans

  • Responsible for EHS compliance on all sites

  • Routinely inspect/observe operations, equiptment and activities for safe processes

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or related field is desired, but equivalent experience will be considered

  • 5 or more years of relevant construction, operations and/or manufacturing experience and EHS management

  • In-depth knowledge of construction, operations and/or manufacturing safety, current Federal and OSHA requirements.

  • Certification as a Safety Professional (CSP) is desired

  • Experience with safety programs in a manufacturing or production environment preferred

  • 40-hour Hazardous Waste Training (HazWOPER), desired

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Wage range for this role is between $115,000-$130,000/annually

  • Discretionary bonus

  • The range provided is Sedron's estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities.

Must be a US Citizen or legal permanent resident for this position. We are unable to sponsor any employment visas.
